4x4 light not working?
Hey guys,
I have an 04 4.6L 4x4 i just bought and was testing the 4x4 to see if it was working correctly and no noises, vibrations etc.
i noticed that when i put it in 4H the light in the dash is not coming on but the 4x4 seems to be working. it's pulling really well on the ice in 4x4 and slides around when im in 2wd.
anyone have any opinion on this? The light isnt burned out as it does come on when i first cycle the key (with all the other dash lights)

Try to pull codes from the instrument cluster and go from there.

Actually, it is the first action to take in the Ford OE Pinpoint tests after test step R1.
Based on the DTC results you will go from there, whether or not they are present.

update.
the 4x4 low light works, and last night after playing with teh 4x4 low when i put it in high the 4x4 high light flashed for like, half a second. i couldnt get it to repeat what it did though
