Torque is the name of the game

I am back and looking at my never ending project once more. I need to finish ordering parts so I can make some progress. This is a low rpm torque motor for my motor home. I am wondering if any one has used a small stroker kit for this type of application?
This is what I have in mind and or parts in hand.
Intake Performer 3766ffice
Carb Performer 1411 750cfm
Cam Luanti part # 6160 lift 503/535
Double roller timing set
Crane rocker arm conversion kit.
Roller rockers by Harland&Sharp
Valves Ferra stainless 5000 series 2.19 int. 1.76 exhaust. I had new hardened seats installed. New springs
Water pump by Milodon high performance (has plate on the impeller looks just like the ones they sell as a kit)
MSD Pro billet Distributor
MSD 6A box
Thorley TRY Y long tube headers for improved low end torque always use a X or cross over pipe this helps torque.
TCI low speed stall torque converter to reduce slippage and improve mileage.
I am wondering what you would recommend for a vibration damper?
I am also wondering about whether a stroker kit would give enough extra torque to justify the added expense. Would the Thorley headers flow enough with a stroker?
The heads have been worked on per Scott’s site and I have matched the combustion chambers to 90cc.
I need to stay at about 8.5 compression so I can run that cheap $4.00 regular.
Thanks for your comments and advice.
Bill

I don't think the stroker would be worth the money. What size were you thinking 502/514/521/540? I think the smaller vales would work for a rv, i think scott uses the 1.76 when flow gets around 200cfm on the exhaust. I think its kinda neat all together. Headers should be fine if they are 1 and 3/4 or bigger.

Thanks for your coment.
504/534 range is what I had in mind. The Thorley headers are the long tube style/desine to inprove torque. they are 15/8 21/2 they look like the same desinge as the headers sold by Banks.

to clarify, adding stroke and gaining torque and low rpm horsepower is always good, i think you will have alot more power and torque than say a stock 460. A stroker may cost 800-1000 or more depending on part quality. Its up to you what you are looking to spend.
