thought about that i dont think that i would be able to here the low and highs because i have 61/2 that are just for lows and mid and tweaters that are for the highs.. do you think it would sound alright?
I was actually thinking about this today oddly enough...
I'm big on custom work, especially when it comes to audio, and if you are too this is something to think about. If you have the bench seat (would look really off with any other) you could always fabricate your own box to house the speakers that goes under the seats, and the speakers face the front of the car, and put a piece of dilled out plexiglass over the speakers to prevent from being kicked.
You may need to raise the seats a little (have not measured anything, just thought about it), but I don't see that taking more then some longer bolts and some thick washers.
I have a tin ear so, I can't comment on the audio quality, but the ones I put in were plenty loud and audible from behind the seat, even made the seat vibrate at times. I'd be less confident putting them under the seat, for fear of sand, water, and what not.
well guys, i have decied what i am goin to do. i made custom boxes to go in the very front on the doors dont haveit done yet but the boxes are done. i will post pics when im done.
