If you bought the truck new it should have come with a little card in the glove box with the Owner's Guide that has the code on it. Otherwise I would start by looking behind the radio up on the firewall as that is where it is on the earlier SD.
Open your glove box then carefully bend the corners where the stops are to release them. The box should now hinge down out of the way. The BSM back in there and the code is on it.

I have been looking for 2 days for the factory code for my 2009 F350, I have removed the panel below the steering column and searched with a light and taken a whole bunch of pictures with my iPhone where I could not look. I have looked behind the glovebox and searched all over the Internet with no luck so far. I would be very grateful to anyone who can offer specific info on how to find this code.

Ok it is located on the back side of the fuse panel or otherwise known as SJB (SMART JUNCTION BOX) on the passenger side kick panel. Firstremove the entry trim piece on the passneger side that says "SUPERDUTY" then remove the fuse panel door followed by the remaining trim piece. There is two Bolts on the fuse panel. remove then and it is on the bottom left corner of the bigger sticker.
My USED 2008 SD dually 4x4 (manufactured early 2008) with NO MANUAL! had it located on pass. side kick panel, fuse block, back side.
It was on the bar code lower rt. bottom as you read the tag. 2 - 7mm screws were removed to pull block off the sidewall. You do have to remove the super duty step panel, rubber trim, and triangle fuse panel, then pull trim piece to the rear and you'll have the fuse block exposed. The #'s are SUPER SMALL! I pulled the tag off, and stuck it in the owners manual & used a sharpe to write it on the fuse panel door trim piece as well. Saved me an hour at the "Stealership" who wanted an hour worth of labor to read it from the computer. Please try this first and save some time and money!!!
Thanks guys, You all save me $80. I pulled the fuse box behind the passenger side kickwall panel and found my code too. My truck is also a 2008 F350 Dually 4x4, and its code was in very small lettering on the right top corner of the larger tag.

Man, thanks alot!!!! Your description is so precise, it is unreal. I just helped a buddy get the code for his 2008 F250 CC 4x4 KR, identical to mine, except for the year.
