Initial Engine Start Up
The engine I am putting in my truck has not been started in almost a year. Is there anything special I should do before the initial start up? I have hand cranked it a few times but that obviously isn't enough to get the juices flowing. It is a 428FE.

Pull all the plugs, put a couple squirts of oil in each cylinder, turn the crank a few times.

Bring #1 to TDC, pull the dizzy, use a drill to pre-lube the oiling system.

Yeah that things is probably not even any good anymore. I'll come haul it off free of charge other than mileage sound good ?
