So, for a while now I have noticed that when I make a turn, let's say at a stop sign, I can feel a vibration from the back (seems like on the inside wheel of the turn). Almost the herky/jerky that you get when the front hubs are locked in on pavement...but definitely coming from the back and not quite that bad. Happens when turning in either direction and under light/moderate thottle.
Any thoughts on what this could be? Normal? Something going out? Need a rear diff fluid add/change? Could it just be tires?
I would change the fluid, see what everything in the rear end looks like (no pieces of metal, etc.) Some rear end fluids come with an additive for limited slip in them, some you have to add it separatly. I usually go a little light on the additive until I drive a bit after changing, if you turn a corner and it kind of drags you can always add a bit more to ease the locking of the limited slip clutch plates. If you get too much in there they tend to be all slip instead of limited slip.
If you haven't changed the fluid, you may as well, never hurts. Pick up some friction modifier at the dealer too.
It could also be that the spline needs a lube.
any ideas on fluid. Normal stuff at A-zone or the dealer or some schaffers of some sort. I haven't even researched what the specs are so I'm just throwing this out to some folks who have changed their's recently.

Your need fully synthetic lube per the manufacturers requirements. Im pretty sure its 75w140 or something like that . I got valvoline fully synthetic and it wasnt cheap (cheaper then a new rearend thou!) it was veryyyy easy. 10 bolts or so, a good cleaning, re seal with red RTV and re fill with friction modifier included if its a limited slip. Good luck here the link wth pics
