brazing?

brazing?

I have the motor out of my truck, and I need to replace my exhaust while its out. I'm going to have a couple joints, I don't have a welder can I solder or braze the joints? Would clamps be better? 1984 F250 351w.

You can use clamps no problem. I usually clamp both inlet and outlet of the muffler and weld the rest but clamps are fine just so there are no leaks.

strap clamps work great...much better than the ubolt clamps...

ones like these...
