Has anybody tried to convert a 4x2 truck to a 4x4 I have a 99f150 and wish I had purchased a 4x4 pick and was wondering how hard it would be to convert it to a 4x4? and how much would it cost? If anybody had a list of the parts required that would be great. Also my truck is not 5.4 it is a 4.6 V8

 

If I was you, I would trade it in for another 99, or maybe a 98. You could trade it cheaper than to convert it. Especially at it's age.

 

I agree compleatly with what pastmaster said. At that age, it would be best to just swap it.
