Any Idea what this is about? We had a drastic weather change here. We've gone from the teens to almost 50 degrees in the past two days. The EXPY started fine this morning. After I came out of the store and started it, I got a service engine soon light. I came home, hooked up my tester and I got the above code. I cleared it out to see if it's weather related, started the car again and no code.
My guess is the upstream DPFE EGR hose is iced up, plugged, or disconnected.
(Older DPFE sensors would accumulate condensation in certain weather condictions and freeze in the DPFE. What year did you say it was?)
Well, since it takes TWO CONSECUTIVE DRIVE CYCLES in which the monitor test runs and fails to set the MIL, your "test" is not valid to see if the problem is resolved (which it probably isn't).
Just starting the engine doesn't qualify as much of anything, especially an OBDII drive cycle.
