intake gaskets
i wanted/needed to put my truck back together tomorrow. went to ford for some new intake gaskets; i assumed they would have them in stock. well they did, just not by themselves. they had them in a kit along with the turbo kit gasket set and egr cooler gasket set all for $120. don't need the egr cooler gaskets, i deleted it. so the turbo gasket set to buy it seperate was $9 and the intake gaskets are $11 each. so i couldn't see spending $120 for the kit when all i needed was $30 worth of gaskets. actually you could purchase all those gaskets individually and not have more then $50 in all them. expensive packaging?? anyways, i wanted to know if i could reuse the old intake gaskets. they were replaced at 73,000 and the truck now has 122,000 on it. if i can't, i will be out of a truck for another 5 days. thanks guys.
