engine swap
i have a 97 f150 4wd with a 4.2 engine and manual tranny.will a 4.2 engine from a 2000 f150 work in my truck? and what would i have to change to make it work? ty, i found a deal on a jasper 4.2 in a 2000 is why im asking

If Jasper rebuilt it they (probably) did the hydrolock fix.
If it has the numbered Jasper tag you might contact Jasper to find out.
