Clutch fork problems

I was wondering if anyone has any pics of the clutch fork assembly where it attaches to the pivot trunnion in the bellhousing. When i pulled the tranny my anti rattle spring was missing and i have no idea how it goes back together. Does the anti rattle spring hold the clutch fork to the trunnion? i am lost.

Doggonit I tried taking some pictures but the stuff hasn't been cleaned yet and
since it's all the same color and surface texture, can't tell what I'm looking at. :/

Can we start all over?
I guess you are talking about the spring that holds the fork in place?
(while you're putting the engine and transmission together)

I don't suppose that sucker needs to be there after you've got it all together?
Anybody?

And I suppose a guy could get it together without it, the boot and throwout
bearing springs will do a pretty good job of holding it in place?

I just took that stuff apart today.
I'm pretty familiar with it.

Tell me more to go on, I'm guessing too much. :)

When I pulled the motor and trans during my build that little spring/keeper popped off, and I couldn't find it anywhere. I ordered a new one from LMC... it wasn't much more than a few dollars if I am remembering correctly. The fork wouldn't stay in correctly without it.

Your clutch fork is different than mine yours clips on the trunnion pivot mine has a spring that holds the clutch fork to the trunnion. I was looking for a pic of how the spring holds the fork to the trunnion. I did order a spring should be here soon i just wasnt sure of how it all went into place.

That sucks. :/

On mine the spring is riveted to the fork and the spring would have to break
to "get lost".

Anybody got pictures of the other (older?) type? :)

65-68 CLUTCH LEVER SPRING C6AZ7562A
Used Bill's part number.
It's just a piece of music wire bent into a special shape. :)

A picture would be cool of the assembly,
if it's a good one I'd like to put in my file12. :)
(file13 is trash, so that stuff is one step better than trash;)

Here are some pics of the spring on the fork i guess this is how it goes still not sure its not quite on there but when i give it a little push it goes in place. It holds and with the boot and throw out bearing installed it cant go any where i hope.
