Door Panel Removal
Believe me, these trucks actually have about the most simple door panels to remove. The info in the post above is correct, You can have it off on less than 5 minutes. Hardest part to re-install is getting the handle back thru.
thats exactly what i was thinking. the hardest part is getting the door handle out and back in. other than that simple as pie. UHM chocolate pie..... what?????????? i like food!
The above is all correct but just thought i would mention that if you have manual crank windows you will have to take a flat head screwdriver and lightly pry the top cover off the crank. it should come off from the bigger round end, then you will have to remove the TORX screw that is inside the crank handle. I believe it is TORX 20 but im not to sure. but other then that it is the one screw in the arm rest then like 10 or so black plastic clips. Goodluck
Even getting the handle back through is easy. Just put your fingers through the slit where the handle comes through and pull the handle through the door panel as you hang it.

that's when the real fun starts!
on the XLT there are a few screws in the lower panel the carpeted part! and be careful with the pop in pop out clips -they will break! take your time and you will be fine-the handle is a pain -ya have to tour the door panel to get it out -just be easy and take your time!!!!
When you re-install, grab the handle and pull it up as you put it thru the panel. helps to tilt the rear of the panel down as you do this. feels like you need 3 hands, but its easier than you think.
When reinstalling, take the inside window trim off. Straighten the clips and install last. The clips bend slightly when removing and only get worse on the reinstall if you don't take it completely off. It snaps smartly back in place if done separately.
