Morris, looks like my problems have cleared up. No more pop-ups or wrap around. Thanks for your help.

No problems so far, we'll just have to wait until the next time the IT guys get board and have to stick their fingers into.

Thanks

The test did not go well. I used to be able to hit "post quick reply" and, with broadband, it would be on the screen nearly instantly. Now when I hit that button, I get the equivalent of an hourglass, with the msg. " posting quick reply, standby" which will stay on my screen all day, or until I hit the back button, at which point the thread I am posting to is onscreen, including my post.

Also, I don't get the green block progress bar at the bottom of the screen.

The search function still isn't working correctly. You can now search but when you try to open one of the pages you get a blank explorer page.

I cant bring pics from my gallery up to a thread page anymore, I used to be able to do it. Also I cant add to anyones reputation. Is it beacuse I got my hand smacked for being bad on FTE?

Seems it`s the IE users like myself though I don`t have too many problems......yet! Once in a while I get the hour glass and a fairly slow response or a blank page, I haven`t tried using the search for a while.
Broke my right index finger on Monday so I`m not doing as much, it`s even harder to type with a real fat sore finger in a splint.......LOL!

ya know, this makes sense...Last few days I started to wonder if it was IE that was causing pages to load slow....and saturday night chat using FF went quick. Think I'll try FF again.

No FTE problems though.
