flowmaster exhaust
I want to add a cat back one in two out custom exhaust to my 98 Expedition. I want it to be obvious there's a V-8 under the hood from the outside but not give me a headache on the inside.
I'm trying to decide between the "70 series flowmaster" and the "50 series SUV" Anybody out there that can give me some feedback would be much appreciated.

I went all out on mine and got the Force II system dual exhaust instead of just a muffler. I'm extremely happy with it, I've got a 4.6L V8 and it sounds great, but isn't overpowering. With the windows closed you dont hear that much and with the windows down its powerful and demands attention. Sounds great off the line 
but i've never found the noise level to be headache material. Hope it helps and good luck with it.

I got a flowmaster 40 series custom exhaust with gibson headers on my 5.4. the exhaust is a real deep mellow tone but I don't think it is too loud. the flowmaster gave no hp gain but the headers made a huge impact. truck sound good, i get alot of compliments
