near the valve cover? is it the one that goes from the hpop to the head? thats what is sounds like, is it the line or the fiitng come loose? be careful messing with it, that oil is under extreme pressure. if its not loose you need to replace that line. i think that is a major part of your problem
Heck if your too broke to buy oil put some used oil back in or something. Used oil is better than no oil but since they require oil to pop the injectors it ain't gonna run with out it. Probably when it's cold the oil isn't running down fast enough and therefore can't pump it back up but that'll ruin bearings and fry your engine too.
my truck has been acting up lately when first starting like runnin real rough for a while like its gonna shake itself apart but now its like that the whole time i drive i first get in it will start fine and run fine until i go to take off then it bogs down real bad and wants to die and i cant get going very fast - could it be map sensor

Maybe it's your HotPedal mod.. or "HotFoot". I heard of more than a few people having trouble with this mod, more than it's worth.

Do you have this style HPX line? The one in the middle. Might be your oil leak.
through some used oil in it and it fired up and runs like brand new but the leak is down by the oil pan on the driver side there are too lines down there and a metal cannister i think its comin from the metal cannister any ideas
I'll lok for a write up but:
It's a straight forward job, Not too bad to get out of the truck. Remove the
driver side tire, you can do some of the work though there. You need to drain
the coolant but you will still get a bath. LOL
It's connected at the oil filter housing and the front of the water pump. You
might need to lift the engine on the driver side just a tad to wiggle it out. No
need to remove the motor mount just jack it up on one side, there is enough
stretch in the rubber in the mount.
it wont let me on that site can i get the orings from the parts store or would it be cheaper just to buy a new oil cooler or if you can get another site for me thanks guys aka diesel gods lol
All of the part numbers are in the first link I posted...in the pictures.
I can't find the kit# but here's the individual part numbers:
You can get them from Ford or IH. IH is usually cheaper.
BTW: I forgot to tell you to remove the lower radiator hose from the water pump,
it makes getting to the 2 front mounting bolts easier.
There are 4 o-rings, order 2 inner and 2 outer.
There are 2 gaskets, order 1 front and 1 rear.
Oil Cooler O-Rings? (one each to seal cooler at each header)
