Did you at least get a refund for that bad rebuilt alternator? I would have given them hell for that. You are way better off with a 100 amp alternator though.
I'm not sure what that black wire is, but I can check my truck tomorrow to see if mine has something like that.
As for the wiring to the alternator, I would at least wire it up temporarily to see if the wiring and alternator is charging properly and not draining when off. No point getting more parts if there is still a wiring problem.
some fight are worth it but 50 bucks and i had them test the new one at the store aim wasn't going down that road again i will have mercy on some but not all
Yeah, I'm actually planning on getting into the booming windturbine field, starting pay anywhere between 17 to 35 depending on what you make on the entry test. So I'm getting my associates in Wind tech and maintence. Also, we are getting a new coal plant called Tenaska, its one of them new fanglydy emission free coal plants that is supposed to bring some good jobs, not to mention we have to gypson plants and 1 cement plants, so there are good jobs if your willing to work
