well i just bought my self a 1977 f350 dually with a flatbed on it.
only problum is i have rear lights but when i turn on the left turn signal both come on. the right one does nothing. i can see 4 wires in the back. a brownish one, yellow one, a green one,and a black one not hooked up.
the lights are 2 wire lights and are wired with yellow and brown one hooked to both sides.
what is wrong here causing my turn signals to not work right,
if any one cna hlep me or has a link to a wiring diagram for the rear lights fomr the cab back.
well thsi truck actully has dual element trailor lights on it for taillights. with the green being the right turn signal it means that there must be a break some were in the wire because it is not working. so ill try that and see if that fixes the wiring problum
because the stock wiring is basicly the same, brown is the parking lights, green is the right turn, yellow with black stripe is left turn, and black with red stripe is reverse lights
if there isnt a connector at the back of the truck check in the engine compartment coming out of the fire wall in between the where the hood hinge is bolted on and the brake booster is the master harness look for a 8 pin rect. (4 one side 4 other side) green conector coming off of that, (not all are used) going down to the frame rail look for the colors listed
