I also have a higher mileage engine but from the reading that I've done on here it seems to be recommended to stick with the 5w20. From what I've read about the tight tolerances in these engines it's looking for trouble running anything thicker than recommended or at most a 5w30. Don't know by experience just read a lot on the subject after purchasing my truck. Hope this helps.
The Plugs were pretty much all worn ouit evenly with pink brown color .
Furian, Good news , This morning Took your advise , the guys at Auto zone were helpfull , they read the code it Po305 that suggested no five was miss firing . Immediatly tyhey gave new COP and changed on the spot andf Boom it worked immediatly the miss was gone I drove few miles , it really handled good specially at Overdrive it was smooth.
Again thank you for the help , I will watch and report on the oil consumption. Now I will clean the IAC Obvuiously it was not cared for or serviced well giving the Oil color.
