build ideas

wut makes a 302 into a 306? 331?347? im building a 1972 302 for a ranger and i just want to to be reliable, how do i make the stock rods stronger? wut components that i should get for this? thax guys

Boring it 0.030" over would make put it to around 306 CID. 331 and 347 CID's would be stroker kits.

Get the rods reworked and smooth out the beams to reduce stress risers and you could shotpeen them and use ARP wave lock bolts the have the rotating assembly balanced
