I'm not real sure of the validity of this suggestion, but my friend hooked up some type spark plugs (i don't think they were regular automotive type) and ran a line to his battery from them. Supposedly there's enough fuel vapor left to create flames. I think they were from model airplane engines, glowplugs, and once they get hot they stay hot from the flames and don't constantly draw from the battery. I also don't know how he hooked up to the battery.
I bought a dual rear exit exhaust kit and I want flames out the exhaust. How do i do it? What do i need to watch out for? Whats the best setup?
Thanks
I understand you want to ignite your exhaust gases.....
a) How do you do it? Eat a lot of beans and purchase a $.79 Bic lighter.
b) What to watch out for? Backfires or someother type of "blowback" (ouch !!).
c) What's the best set up? Lying on your back with your butt stuck up in the air.
Ok, you can drill holes in the exhaust and stick a spark plug there, you have to run it real rich thought to do it. Or, if you dont want to run it rich, you can put a furl injector in the exhaust jsut before the spark plug, that way, you can turn the flames on and off.
P.S. Dont kill yourself.... I've heard fire hurts...
I once knew a guy who would put Zippo lighter fluid in between his lip and his gums and then light a match and blow a big flame out his mouth. Seems like he would spit a lot after the show, though.
