Need new Muffler Bearings...

My muffler bearings are pretty noisy. Does anyone know where I can get some new performance ones?

Go to your local hardware store, they should be found beside the sky hooks. If not check and see if they are near the board straighteners. Good luck.

I think your all wrong. I went out in the garage and looked behind my glass welder, under the bod of grid squares, opened the safe with my left handed crecent wrench and found my book on rare auto parts and it says that muffler bearings are no longer used on cars manufactured after the year 1683.

The muffler bearings on my Wife's Aerostar were shot. I could tell because the muffler would rotate on the pipe but was noisy. The bearings were so bad we had to replace the whole system. Also had a lot of trouble with the motor a couple years ago. Turned out to be a bad widget. All is well now.

A rattle I thought was bad muffler bearings one time was actually caused by just being too low on turn signal fluid. I filled it up to the proper 72 gallons and saved my rotator splint for another 100000 kms. I've got to go change the air in my tires, be back later.......

Change the air in your tires? I was always told to ROTATE the air in my tires.

Also check for File #13, it has information on Muffler Bearings... Also its next to the Aisle that has the new chain for Honda 4x4 ATVs...

And if your radio isn't getting all the stations, goto Radio Shack or similar store and get some Frequency Grease, and rub it on your Antenna.....

Navy Surplus has everything you need. One of the most common causes of muffler bearing failure is lose of relative bearing grease, the only way to apply the grease is by reconnecting the fallopian tubes. You can get the tubeing at any auto parts store or you can get it by the reel at a surplus store. And by the way you can save a few bucks by getting a light bulb repair kit instead of buying new headlights.
