problems starting the truck, again..

ok, so i had another look at it today, i put an aligator clip wire on the positive bat post and the ignition post on the solenoid... and she stays running... sooo it must be something with the ignition switch or a wire around there... had a look under the dash and its a gong show of wires ha someone made a mess before me... so i guess when its warmer im gonna have to clean all that up and go from there..

Ya know Kirk, i dont mind doing wiring work THAT much, but fixing up someone else's hack job, SUCKS!

Might wanna check into one of those updated wiring harness type kits when the time comes.

Start at the coil and track backwards to see where the power to the coil stops. Hopefully it`s somewhere under the hood and not that mess of under dash wires........

You could always just tie in a wire to make it work for now. At the same time its supposed to be warm for a few days yet, but that might not be enough time to tackle a whole mess of wires!
