If you are just going to use it for a helper pump for the factory fuel pump, either one will do well. I used the 4070 and have had no problems. I just made sure that I had additional vibration damping on the chassis mount because they are very noisy.
I'm using it as a helper pump because i am going to usea racor or dahl water separator.
Also good write-up Guzzle. How long more will your site be under construction.
I asked the same question before I did mine in '07, and ended up going with the 4594. The only differences are that the 4070 does not come with a complete kit, and hte 4594 pump puts out about 2psi higher pressure. Mine has been running without a hitch, and I have over 30,000 miles on it at this point.
Like Bob (Guzzle) said, they are noisy. I added some extra noise dampening to mine, and it's still not what I would call "quiet". You can look in my gallery where I have pics of how I did my install.... https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=28954

????
I moved the site to a different domain but it should have forwarding links on everything. Where are you seeing "Under Construction"??? It should work directly from my sig line also.

Let me know and I get whatever it is fixed.
Sorry Guzzle,i was thinking about Petes cover site.
Chris... I thought you might be referring to my site... it's a continuing work in progress.
I have so little "spare" time, it's hard to make time to work on it - 6 kids, cover orders, working around the house, working on vehicles, working period... you probably know the routine about as well as I do.
