I have a 2008 F-350. The left front low beam isnt working. Its not working on the truck and its not working on the plow, when thats plugged in. I changed the lamp on the plow first, nothing, the looked in the owners manual, sure enough, the left and right low beams have separate fuses. Change them, 10amps.
Have you checked the relays under the hood? I dont know where they are on the 2008 but on the 2002 they are on the drivers side by the firewall. One of them controls the Lows on the 2002.
No, that didnt help. I have the power distribution box (under the hood) open, and the owners manual back out , but cant find anything specific to the head lights, just the one 10 amp fuse in the cab.
The left and right low beams in the 2008's are not controlled by relays at all. They are controlled by FETs (a type of transistor) in the smart junction box. This is where you found the 10 amp fuses. The FETs are located after the fuses in the sjb(smart junction box). There should be 7 connectors on the sjb. One of the connector have spots for 13 wires but only have 10 used. The left low beam should be a brown with blue tracer wire and the right low beam should be a blue with a green tracer wire. With your lights on you should have power to these 2 wires. Some where between this connector and the headlights there should be relays of some sort when they connected in for the plow lights. I suspect your problem might be around the connections at this relay. Where these are I do not know. You could trace back from the plow lights or trace forward from the plow light switch
