Question ccv reroute odd question

hey guys i rerouted my ccv last april and always noticed a slight haze and air coming out of the hose, i only ran my hose about 7ft down under my driver side door frame hole and left it end there, my question when under throttle oil mist and gas comes out fast right? what happens when your going down a steep hill with tow/haul mode on and engine braking on? is air being sucked back up the pipe or not ? my truck has the little ccv box with i believe 4 vent holes on it does this have a small filter in it or not to prevent dirt, oil,and debris from entering the valve cover and getting into the oil system?

I rerouted mine and my moderately educated guess would be No. And even if it did suck back in the oil film in the 7 plus feet of hose would probably trap the dirt. My .02 cents.

No, when you are engine braking you still have compression in your cylinders creating blow-by and crankcase pressure.
