Got my O Rings and Fumoto valve in from Bob (Guzzle92) at Diesel O Rings. Now for the service part, I ordered them at 11:17 am on Thursday the 29th and they arrived in todays mail. Now I don't care who you are, that's fast shipping. He also helped me decide what oring kits I needed, just to be safe. I feel a little safer driving any distance with a complete set of fuel and oil orings. Might just get me home, or help a fellow FTEr get home. I've been meaning to order some and when I saw he had the Fumoto valves and for a good price, it was time. Ya'll have a look.
That's pretty much what I did. It's a Just it Case order, but it's easier to fix something when they are in the tool box and not in some store. He also included a handy little cheat sheet to make sure I put them in the right place.
I am gald to see he is expanding in the business I look forward to buying some more parts off of him. I just got my turbo reinstall kit today I won the Feb truck of the month! WOOHOO! Guzzle is a great help to us here at FTE, his great write ups (used today on brakes) and his excellent help on the RHN!
Thank you Barry and the rest of you great folks for the comments.
What is amazing to me is that the mods (or admins) will leave a link to a non-sponsor like Jo-Smoe's Muffler shop that doesn't post or support FTE in any way at all but will remove the link you posted. Maybe I need to remove my links to FTE from my website, they don't pay me! You would think that 6,000 unique visitors a month with their name splashed about would be worth a couple of links.
I talked to them about paying for a sponsorship but the $ they wanted was unbelievable for a small start up like myself. Heck, if I even get out of the red by September, I will be surprised let alone paying them the big bucks. The thing is that they don't realize is that this is more like a hobby because I sure haven't seen any income!
Enough of my rant because I started doing this to just have some fun with it and I am glad I could help some of you out.
