driveshaft question???? please help!!!!
i have a 1992 ford f150 4x4 reg cab flareside xlt with 351w and e40d automatic. i am installing a 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift. my question is this, will the driveshafts have to be legthened? and if so what does the overall legth need to be. i'm buying my suspension monday so any quick response would be greatly appreciated. thanks. michael.

what kind of lift are you buying? Also you will need to do something with your driveshaft but might not need lenghting . Some of the Lift company's have transfer case drops that allow use of stock driveshafts and if they don't they should be able to tell you exactly how much you'd need to lenghten.

ok, the lift is from rough country. it's a 6" suspension Front coil springs, radius arm drop brackets, I-beam drop brackets, power steering pitman arm, 4 Nitro 9000 series shocks, u-bolts, and 3" rear blocks w/ add-a-leafs. also dual steering stabilizers and extended front and rear brake lines. and the body lift is also a rough country 3" body lift.
