Engine Light 08 F350 SD ??
My engine light has come on and the code is P2002 "Particulate Trap Eff Below Threshold bank#1" any idea what I am looking for?

Just wondering if it was something simple that can be fixed without having to remove the AFE intake prior to going to the dealer. Looks as though I will put the stock air intake back on a take it in.

If you look a little further down the main forum listing, you'll find we have a 08-09 6.4 section here. Ask those guys. They can tell probably tell you. I've read the AFE will set a check engine light onthe 08 trucks, but I don't remember what code it set. This may be no big deal and just related to your choice of filter.

The mass air effects dpf operation so if your intake is throwing it off, which Ford warns about repeatedly...then that might be the source of your code.
