Look in the sticky thread "Help To Post Pictures" at the top of the forum page. There are very complete instructions (with pictures) on how to creat a gallery and post pictures in threads.
They must have changed the format of albums. It seems there are separate albums and then there's albums in the galleries I looked in my "User CP" and there are two links, one under "Networking", "Pictures & Albums " that goes directly to an album and another under "Settings and Options", "Edit Gallery" which takes you to your gallery where you can add, edit or delete albums in your gallery.
Kind of confusing. The option under "Networking" might have been there all along but I've never noticed it. Does anyone know why they have two different places to have an album?
You have to go through his profile to see his album. It's not in his gallery but a completely disconnected album. I think it's got something to do with the site updates they did a week or so ago. Those IT guys just can't seem to keep their fingers out of something that works.
Some real nice Patina on the old girl, it would be kina a shame and a waste of good paint to cover it all up, well at least it would be on the outside, she might need a little on the inside.
Looks like a fairly solid truck, I like that year as I prefer that grille. What I do like is the car that was parked beside it, do you remember what kind of shape it was in? I'm refering to the 49-51 merc
I'm not sure you are aware of it or not, or if anyone else has mentioned it or not, but your truck is a "Five Star Extra Cab" model!!!!!!! Le Crem de la Creme!
And it appears that a substantial number of the Extra Cab options are still in place from what I could pick out from the pictures - such as: Chromed wings; bright metal window divider; Magic Aire Heater; Interior door panels and frames (guard those with your life) Drivers side door lock; dual trumpet horns; dispatch box (glove compartment) door lock; chrome interior door handle escutcheouns; throttle cable; and dual wipers.
As patinaed as they are and dirty this is a virtual treasure chest of parts!
Here are a couple things to look for that I couldn't see in the photos: Did the truck come with the stainless steel windshiled trim piece, the roled back bumper (same style as the front - again VERY diffivult to find), or possibly electric wipers? The hood orniment is off a 51 auto by the way. Any Hood spears????????
WHAT EVER YOU DO, IN THE COURSE OF YOUR WORK OR RESTORATION DO NOT THROW ANYTHING AWAY! Even if you decide to restore differently and not use the parts, they might be worth some major bucks.
I am also restoring a Five Star Extra Cab, and I've paid for a lot of the parts you have so I know! So if you need to find a specific part, say for example a heater core, I have the part numbers and purchase locations for most of those that are still available! Write to me if you need any help!

And I posted on the pic in your gallery. I'm interested in the Mercury on the left (green 1963)
Bob, I think when they updated the server software, the extra features were added such as friends list, new photo album, etc... I have my old galleries underneath still, too. I suspect they just kept our old galleries down below instead of deleting them in regards to the new album format. I plan on redoing my galleries again the next couple days or so, since it is still too cold for garage time.
It's not like it didn't take every one a year to figure out how to post pictures the last time. Oye Vey!
As the "Picture Posting Queen" here, I've been looking at how to navigate to galleries and keep up with my own, and it looks like its' study time again. Sigh!
