If it is indeed the tensioner,those are only $49/each. You'll need a LH and RH tensioner-they are different. Changing those requires removal of the cam covers,pullies,fan,damper,PS pump has to drop loose,and the timing cover comes off. Then you'll need to remove that bad tensioner. While you're in there-I'd recommend changing the timing chain guides. They're nylon,and do wear. The chains themselves are probably still perfect-I've only seen a couple over the years that have actually needed replacement. Labor is gonna be the thing-this would take me 5-6 hours total(if the fan comes off easily),but a shop is gonna hit you for book rate-which very well could be much longer.
