Weekends Only

What do you guys think.?

If you only drive your 6.4l on the weekends is that of any concern,

or are we at the same risk to issue's as anyone else ??

Should be fine as long as you get it up to highway speeds and clean her out on those weekends and not just putt around town.

Mine is normally only driven on the weekends as well. So long as you work the truck when you drive it I dont think thats an issue. If it sat for weeks at a time I would be more concerned.

ditto with the above, as long as you run it and hard you should be good. Mine was kinda getting slugish so I hooked up to my TT and took at hill of I guess 6% and put to the floor. runs better now.

months

Mine may sit for a month or two. I never notice anything wrong or different when I drive it. When I do drive it though, 30 to 40 miles is the minimum.

If we could run our 6.4's 50,000 miles a year, under load, do proper fluid changes, they would last way past our warranties. Alas, we do not. If you know an over the road owner-operator of a truck tractor, ask the same question and see what you get for an answer. It will surprise you.\

P. S. This is in response to the original post...

I think that is known as an oxymoron. Kind of like jumbo shrimp or Chevrolet racing. Some things just arent meant to go together.
