I bought a new gun! it is a Sig Saur P245, the Compact Classic, .45 caliber, and is great.. I shot is this morning, and it groups really nicely in a 1 inch, rapid fire, six through 4 holes. (I love shooting, and talking about guns, and teaching people how to use them responsibly.) Other than that, I got very hot, melted some, and got bitten by a few bugs. Wrote a nice sermon, chatted with a couple of local ministers, spent some time with friends, and posted some on the FTE.

What did you do this weekend?

well friday I finished teaching survival training up here at the Air Force Academy
saturday I went camping
and sunday I went off-roading to see if my 73 bronco would still overheat after an hour of crawling around...it did, and will continue to until I can afford a new radiator or some electric fans.

Hey Jen I was checking out the A&M website the other day and saw we are playing yall in 2008 and 2009 too bad I won't be around here that long I would really enjoy putting on my aggie hat and watching us get our butts kicked.

What did you do this weekend?

I finally got the brakes done on the Bronco and had it inspected. First time go! It was due last july but it took longer than I thought to rebuild the driveline.

I took my 'fresh out of the body shop' 72 F-250 4x4 to Gunnison Colorado and went four wheeling up Cinnamon Pass into Silverton. Left Sunday morning and came home Tuesday. Drove about 1400 miles all told. LOVE the 428 and NV4500 combo. Crawls the rocks and cruises 70 plus on the highway. Got lots of favorable comments on the pickup, too.

What did you do this weekend?

I miss the Colorado 4 wheeling. My favorite place to take my truck is the top of Engineers Pass, mainly just to see the folk in jeeps do a doubletake when my huge brute comes barreling up the pass.

Hey Jen, saw you were from Sour Lake over on the "roll call" thread well I am from Beaumont but I am in colorado springs right now at the air force academy. I spent a couple of years living in bevil oaks when I was young and played alot of baseball in Sour Lake back in the day. Can't wait to get back, I'm not a big fan of colorado.

What did you do this weekend?

I spent Saturday putting a fiberglass tub and surround in a trailer house for a local business. Man what a headache. She didn't want the wall cut into but I told her I wasn't going to get a 54" tub to rotate and drop into a room that is only 54 1/2" wide! We cut the hole...
Sunday I finished sand blasting the rearend for the 64. Turned out real well after I swapped from course sand to the fine sandbox type I found at Lowes.

Hey 88B...I used to live in Pinewood. When did you live there? And how old are you now?

What did you do this weekend?

well I'm 20 and I should clear something up... I meant to say that I spent alot of time in bevil oaks because most of friends live there; right now I live off of Phelan blvd about 2 miles north of IH-10 but am only there for holidays. I also have some friends that live in Pinewood so I usually go out there when I am home. Are you still in school up there in Co. Station or do you just live there?

most of my friends at A&M are juniors and seniors except for one who is in your class - do you know a guy named aaron pileggi? About the only person in Pinewood I keep up with is a girl named Ashley who is up at SFA right now.
