That's a BUCK TAG, the codes contained on it were used by assembly line workers so they would install the correct parts to match what was ordered.

Buck tags usually cannot be decoded. I cannot make heads nor tails of it, and I've decoded over 600 VIN's here on FTE.

All the info (AXLE, TRANS, COLOR and etc. codes) on your truck are located on the Certification Label found on the B Pillar (door post).

This info can be decoded by myself, or other members here on FTE.

That Vin doesn't match up with any of my books.Could you tell us what the truck is?And possibly recheck the vin?The E34 doesn't match up.It looks like you have a 91 F350,is that correct? It also looks like you have a 351.As for type of trans, the VIN number does not tell you the type of trans. That can be found on the B pillar sticker, which is on the driver's side of the cab.

there is something seriously wrong with this number.

It is 18 digits long, and ALL vin numbers after 1980 are 17 digit numbers.

It's not a valid vin number.

He accidentally put the M twice. It seems to me he has a 1991 Econoline Van,which would explain the E in the vin.
