o7 6.0 diesel coolant problem

i own a 0 f-350 with many mods. included in these mods is an arp stud kit, fire ringed heads, egr delete, ram air intake, 4" turbo back into duels. Once i got the heads done and egr delete my stock turbo with no programmer is reachingup to 32psi of boost but still has a tendency to puke coolant out the degasser bottle???? does any one have any clue what could be causing this. not sure if it makes a difference but the heads are from an 05 but all proper hardware was fitted in. please help.

How high are you filling the coolant? There is a TSB that says you should fill it to the min line when cold. If you are filling higher than that you are overfilling it and it is spitting out the extra. LEt it spit it out until it finds where it wants to run. As long as it is near the min mark when cold you should be ok, if it gets much lower than that you have a problem somewhere.

i think theres a good chance i had over filled it a bit cause its been good for a about a week and i put like 4000km last week. but the first days diag says possible VGT sensor failure or maybe a sticky vane????i'll know more tomorrow. they might install some on board memory like a black box and let me drive for 10-14 days to record issues real time because they are intermintent.

that makes sence. VGT valve actuates the turbo vanes so it could cause an over boost condition where combustion gas escapes into the coolent passage ways through the space inbetween the head and block. it would over pressureize the coolent system and blow crap out the degas bottle. try putting a pressure teaser on it with a long hose so you can bring the tester into the cab. if it pressurizes over 16-17 psi your screwed. blown headgaskets. over boost lifting up the heads. if it is a vgt valve your lucky. really lucky. worst case senario. i see it all the time. i tell customers all the time your aftermarket additions or subtractions i.e. (egr blockoff) dont care the engine will still blow headgaskets if they want to. my two cents -6.0L tech

i really hop e my head gaskets are not blown again seeing as there are re-conditioned heads with the fire-ring machined in. i dont believe it can leak there and also i been hitting from 28-33psi. i dont think i could hit that with a blown head gasket. what do you think
