Fuel pressure check

Pulled the plug off the engine mounted fuel filter to check for pressure no fuel spillage. Opened the cap found no fuel in the filter. Checked for elect. power to the fuel pump and its 10.9 to 11.0 volts is the pump bad in the HFCM?

It could be a bad pump. Could also be a plugged primary filter or air leaking into the lines / filter housings.

Turn key on no sound from the fuel pump. Picked up new HFCM will check for pump operation prior to installation.

New HFCM from Ford cost me $340.00 but that was the problem. The truck runs like a champ now.
