my name is justin. i live in minnesota. i have a 97 f150 xlt 2wd 4.6l, and im pretty sure i blew my ****in tranny. i have park and reverse, thats it. all of my forward gears are acting as neutral it seems. i pulled the dipstick, and it wasnt burnt or black, and the tranny fluid was ice cold after a half hour of the truck running. i have no idea what to expect or how to diagnose the problem without spending too much money..
please help if you can

Well Justin, first off welcome to the site. I spend most of my time in the diesel forums. However, looking at your situation, I'd say you are in need of a transmission, or a tranmission rebuild. You may want to go to the forum section and place this in the 97-2003 forum. Here's the link.
