Brake controller buzz
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum as I just bought a 97 F350 PS 4x4. I have been on the excursion forum for a while though. I've learned a ton from you guys (and gals) already. I can't wait to change my downpipe and get some rear discs on this rig. I did the napa filter conversion already. NICE!
The truck came with a brake controller already installed, but it makes the AM radio buzz like crazy any time I step on the brakes. I am not so great with electronics, do you think the controller is wired in wrong somehow? It works fine, but the radio noise is driving me crazy.

On mine kind of depends where I'm at. In town where AM stations are strong can't hear the buzz at all. If I get out of town where the AM stations are weak then it will buzz like crazy. Then I just throw in a CD.

What Neal said and IIRC there is a RF choke u can use but I am having a senior moment and can't remember where to put it. Hey Travis jump in here and jog my memory with your lectrical talent.
