my dad and i took our first motorcycle trip together in Aug 2007. we rode from Vancouver B.C.Canada,to Vancouver Island, took a ferry to Port Angeles Washington.We rode down the 101 Highway almost all the way to California. on our way back home,it was raining as we crossed the bridge from Astoria Oregon into Washington state. half way cross the bridge is the state line. as we rode i notice a big gray thing on the bridge ahead in my lane. it was a Canadian goose! it was just standing there in my way. i slowed down, honked at it. the goose started to run towards me,flapping its wings as if it was going to fly away. it was so big it could barely get off the ground. it hit me in the arm and i wiggled a bit,but gained control. i looked in my mirror to see if my dad was okay. the goose just missed him. later when we stopped for fuel i said to dad, " that would be my luck, a guy from Canada gets killed on the bridge half way between Oregon and Washington by a Canadian goose. What are the odds?"

Well I hit a buck this morning with the company truck AGAIN!

, This year, I got the BUCK! 
Shame he already lost his rack! Sherriff deputy told me if I had hit it 3 hours earlier, He'd a been cutting tenderloins from him!

One morning I hit a dog that ran out of his yard while the owner was plowing snow. I pulled over and ran back to this poor thing that was barely alive. I could see the guy get off his tractor screaming and waving his arms at me. "No! No! No!", he screamed. I felt horrible. Turns out he's screaming at me to stay away from it. Its not a dog, its a coyote.
I got a frantic call from the wife one day. She said she just hit a deer. I asked if she was ok and how bad was the truck. She said she didn't know, but then told me that it was already dead and she ran it over while it was laying there in the road. Needless to say the truck was fine except for a slight mess underneath. Nothing a hose couldn't take care of.
