Now that I have swapped the new cab on the rolled over truck I purchased it won't start. I had everything running before I started taking it apart. When I turn the key on the WTS light stays on. I also hear a few things cycling under the hood but no fuel pump. After about 20 seconds the ABS box makes a groaning sound. The truck will crank but the tach doesn't move and I know it isn't getting any fuel. I checked every fuse in the panel and they are all good. What is the next thing to check?
Then I'd closely inspect the PCM connector you had problems with. The short to ground that causes the WTS light to stay on can also disable the fuel pump. Don't do what I did and replace the fuel pump based on an empty bowl.
You did check the wires on the back side of the 42 pin connector, right? That's where my short was.
I checked the wires on the 42 pin connector and they all look good no damaged wires. Is it possible that my grounds are not good? I checked them all with a test light and they seem fine.
