Pacesetter Headers on a 5.4

Pacesetter Headers on a 5.4
My question is this, i hav a 99 f-250 with the 5.4 in it. I have the exhaust straight piped and i just purchsed a set of pacesetter shortie headers. What will thsi do to my back flow, i knwo it will reduce it but how bad? will this be bad with the engine?

Naw, I dont reckon it would hurt nothin. But since yer gonna open the exhaust side up, why not open the intake side up some to match it? its like if yer exhailing fast but not breathin in much. Or the other way around. A engine works better if both sides are matched. (intake and exhaust). Some ways to do this are with a larger throttle body, K & N filter or other high flow filter or filter charger, or with a high flow intake manifold-not sure if they make em for the new 5.4 L.
