axel swap maybe
83 F350 6.9 To make a long story short Broke my front pinion shaft. Tried to get new ring&pinion(354) was told that they(clutch and gear place) no longer could get that gear ratio for a d50 try a junk yard. Tried a few junk yards and they either would only sell the whole axel or did not have on. I said if I was gonna buy a whole axel I would just buy a D60 and be done with it. My question is what would I have to change to make a 60 work.

TTB dana 50 parts? Obsolete? I am thinking that you might call around. These gears have to be out there.
As far as the "sas" you simply have search exactly that SAS, or solid axle swap. There are plenty of write ups regarding this very issue.
Since the D60F is so similar, this is almost a bolt in swap. You will have to address the trac bar, or find a way to modify the shackles for a reverse shackle conversion, and you will be good to go.
