Extended Mirrors?

Just curious if Ford or any other aftermarket brand makes extended mirrors like them ones on the new 09's? Those are nice for sure... I have a 2001 F-150 4x4 5.4L 210,000 miles and still running strong

Thanks yall

It looks to me like the 04-08 F150 mirrors have a larger mounting base than the 99-03 mirrors. I'll double check the size and mounting points between my 2000 and my inlaws 2005 and chime in tomarrow.

Newer bases will have a different contuer (sp?) should work if you wouldn't mind making another thicker base gasket. Now about the electronics?? I don't know.

I would highly recommend the schefenecker www.ttt-mirrors.com mirrors. I installed mine a few months ago and they're exactly what i wanted. A prciy option but i plan to keep my truck for a long while. i even found my pair on flea bay.

That is not a bad price on the Ebay mirrors. I was paying $380+ shipping a few years ago for electric versions but they ran out of them and I never bought any. The link above is for manual only but electric are only $350 w/ free shipping.

The TTT mirror link doesn't work BTW

Schefenacker Telescopic Trailer Tow Mirror

these are the schefenacker mirrors that the poster above was talking about (i believe the name of the company changed due to a split in the company)..
