Radiator Support Bracket

Guys, I am searching for a radiator support bracket for my:

94 F350 7.3 Diesel WITH A/C

The only ones I can find are for models without A/C. Does anyone know the secret to this? Can I get one that is made for a non AC equiped pickup?

Will this fit?

Any insight would be great. Mine is close to trashed. I think I can make it work for the short term but will NEED to be replaced soon.

I believe the one for non A/C has a smaller opening for the radiator, I am sure if your creative enough you can make it work. The other option would be checking out the wreckers.

Looks like it will work.

I would measure the radiator and call to make sure before you order though.

when I tried to find one up here in canada there were only non ac model rad suports available through the aftermarket... I had to buy mine from the dealer... I think I payed just over 300 bucks for mine which was about 80 or so more than the aftermarket one which didn't work. have you tried the dealer?

My radiator support is in need of replacement as well.

Sadly there are none available for the diesel engine in my body style.

So this summer, it looks like it gets done the hard way, torch and welder style.

Something tells me there may be more room for my ram air scoop or twin scoops next fall.

Dave is yours metal? Mine is plastic, which is why its broke. It is cracked near and around the headlights so they were tricky to adjust properly!

I answered your other post on the other site but I'll post here too.
the part that holds the h/l bezels and grill is called the header panel... or some call it a grill support or grill reinforcement panel. It's only used on the 92-96 trucks and is made of plastic and bolts to the rad suport.

looks like this:http://www.crosscanadaparts.com/images/skus/578-23.jpg

hope that helps......

Do ya think you can make a bit of room for that intercooler you've been talkin about Dave?

My snow plow bracket is what is giving me grief as far as the intercooler goes.

My snoway plow has a piece of steel, 1/2" thick that extends from the top of the bumper down about 10" below the bumper from frame rail to frame rail.

I could actually bolt the intercooler in there, but all air to the lower part of the radiator would be blocked if I did.
I may have to loose or move the AC condensor to get it in there as well.

I have one of those plastic things out in the garage that I can't use on my truck(88 Bronco). I would be willing to let it go cheap. message me on here if your interested. Dave, don't be dissapionted about the core support, they don't have them for any of the diesel trucks anywhere. I called LMC and they told me they did so I ordered it. When it got here I found out it was for a gasser not diesel (this was when I was doing my swap). Called all over the country and had my buddie with a body shop check as well and they are no longer available. I took the gasser one and cut out the lower portion (right where it starts to drop) and then used the deeper part from the diesel core support and welded them together.

Yeah I know.
Mine is worst where the mounting bolts drop down to the frame are, but the bottom of the cradle is swelling where it is welded together.

To many years of salt spraying up there while plowing.

Not to worry though, I have a fab shop that can bend me anything I need for a bit of cash.
A MIG and a grinder then a little DeVilbis action and it will be as good as new, maybe even better.

Just takes time.
