I have taken the selector valve off and cleaned it 2 day ago and no change. I should have did the fuel at the same time. I did get a small amount of jell out of the front side of the valve but nothing major I dont think. All I can do is blow it all out. Unless something else comes to mind. Thanks Cuda_jim
Still having the same issue with the fuel filter light. I have blew out the supply lines and still comes on when I take off and get up in the rpm's, the light will pulsate and go out after I let off the throttle. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks
It seems to idle @ 700 to 800 rpm and I don't know if I am doing it right but when I ckeck for fuel pressure with a regular tire gauge it is only around 20 to 30 psi. But when i press the shratter it will shot fuel pretty good.
20psi is low.
Need a real fuel pressure test #s at idle and at wot.
Then a vac test of supply end.
It will give a direction to go in for the repair.
At this point your issue can still be anywhere in the system
down to a rounded cam lobe.
Quick question, is there suppost to be pressure at the schratter valve after the truck has been running? When I take the filter loose there is suction from the housing.

Yes with it running it shot out good (across the engine compartment). I cant tell if it is vac. or pressure blowing out but fuel doesnt spit out when I open the housing.
