the spade terminal is a thorn in my side-it never -never acts up in good sunshiny weather
always nasty cold or when I'm parked over a mud puddle--I replaced the wire it was bad and put on a new spade connector heavy duty-been okay for about six months-
good luck on that endeavor it will drive ya batty

NO My truck is a 87 F250 with a 460 .It only has one wire to it. My problem is the napa starters don't engage the flywheel the way they should. When I used another brand starter it worked fine. The bushing on the flywheel side of the Napa starter wears out in a short time and the starter just spins.

Okay, who revived this six month old thread and jinxed me?

Went to use the truck yesterday and got the click again. A couple taps on the starter and I was off and running. Guess it is time for another trip to the AZ....

This time I think I will get the free one and maybe buy another one as a spare. Or maybe just bite the bullet and buy a MC part....

Damnit, I don't have time for this right now.
