Black bottle ?

On the newer model F-150's what are those little black bottles welded to the exhaust pipe right before the muffler ? Is that to reduce vibration ? Should I re-attach that to my new duel exhaust

Black bottle ?

If your exhaust starts to vibrate, then yes. That is a resonating balancer of some sort meant to dampen any vibrations from the exhaust.
