water pump wooo's
i am trying to replace the water pump on my 98 expy but i cant get the fan off the end of the pump to get at the bolts is there a trick to this? when i turn with the new belt on everythiong spins. does it turn clockwise or counter thanks

thanks thats what a friend had told me after i posted....now the dam thing still has low heat output. if you rev it up the heat gets better but not what it should be. i did the thermostat and water pump today...any ideas???

Is the fan blowing strong? If yes you may have a blend door sticking in a position that allows cold air to mix with the hot air. Has there ever been a cooling system flush done? The heater core may be clogged.
