Looks like a reverse shackle mod that will add some lift. Placing the shackle on the rear of the front spring is better. As you can see the SD springs are longer than stock springs, suposed to help give a better ride. RSK? Reverse Shackle Kit? http://www.projectresponder.com/oru-...shackle~20.htm

I just can't stand the way the shackles hang down on that setup. If I want lift, I just get springs for our trucks.

What about the better ride you are supposed to get from the RSM? Its supposed to make the suspension work better. Ever drive a truck with it? We have a 250 at work with it and it rides as smooth as glass.

should ride like a superduty, i dont notice much difference, and if i recall they dont reccomend it for offroad use? i could be wrong there, besides, the 2 leaf sd spring wont perform offroading like a true lift kit spring will.

Yea I see what you are saying about the SD springs but I am talking more about the RSM. Just makes sense that when the springs compress they should also be able to go back. When you hit a bump the tire is going to be forced back so the shackle should be in the back. I am about to do both, lift spring a RSM.

As far as the 250 we have at work it rides real good on the pot hole coverd roads we ride on most of the time. As far as the trails we use in the parks they are flater than the roads. So cant tell you much about how it handles off road.

Hey crash can I rent that truck from you? I work for the parks department and my boss really breaks my ***** when ever I drive one of our truck on the grass. I would love to see the look on his face if I ripped through the parks with that sucker! Then maybe the front lawn at his house.

HUH and HUH?????????????

Certainly recommended for off road and how do you figure it won't perform as well as a lift spring? Last time I checked lift springs or not these trucks weren't hard core offroaders anyway.

RSK and SD springs will be just fine off road. Shoot you could even just use the stock springs and the RSK and get a big improvement in the ride cause the front suspension is designed as it should have been from the factory.
