miles with leveling kit

I was just wondering how many miles you guys have put on your trucks after installing a leveling kit, and if you've had any premature failure of any front end components.

I have had mine on since August I believe it is. Put on 8-10000 miles and nothing has gone wrong yet. I got the 3 inch leveling kit and every one was worried about the cv shafts. Havent had a problem yet with them.

installed spring 07

over 15,000 miles now with it installed, about 25,000 total mileage on the truck

0 problems...just get the alignment done ASAP so you don't ruin your tires

btw, I know quite a few guys with 50,000 + miles on their trucks with a leveling kit installed.

some naysayers say the leveling kits eat up ball joints...while partially true, it's actually the roads you drive on that do this. If you have decent roads, you'll be fine. You have crappy roads, your ball joints are gonna go bad with or without a leveling kit...the leveling kit will just make it appear a little quicker.

Auto Spring

I'm a little shy of 50,000 on my 2" auto spring. I have original tires on the truck still. It went in for front hub work and when I looked over the repair bill it said they replaced right tie rod due to wear. Personally I think they damaged it during the repair and just said it was bad to run it thru warranty. Over all I have been very happy with the kit and would recommend it.

I'm at 90K with the truck and about 70K with the 2.5" leveling kit.

No problems here at all so far!

ok i have about 38,000 miles on my kit and i had one of the front tie rod ends replaced before and one replaced after, so i don't think the kit was responsible. I think they just went bad. Other than that, no problems at all.

I have somewhere around 55,000 on my 2" AS. Keep my tires rotated and my alignments done on a regular basis...no problems!
